updates
I update this site all the time. This is only a record of major changes that I remember to mention.
07 Apr 2009 _
I've added a lot of photos to my photography page.
19 Jan 2009 _
I just added a page of Flash games that I recommend. I also recently updated the statistics page.
I also just moved the whole site to a different server where I have more room and more options. I may try adding a forum again or try some other things that I could never do before.
19 Dec 2007 _
I added some new photographs about a month ago.
03 Aug 2007 _
I've updated a lot of things since I last thought to add anything to this page. The only significantly updated pages that immediately come to mind, though, are my page about books and my page about freeware games.
I've also worked some on this new page, which I may or may not finish.
13 Apr 2007 _
Created two link images:

03 Apr 2007 _
Rearranged the photography section and added a new batch of photos.
I also recently added a page about a game called LSD.
23 Jul 2006 _
I've added some more photography recently.
12 May 2006 _
We visited Nevada and I took some pictures there.
A few months ago, I made a second Johnny fan game. But I guess I never mentioned the first one here.
02 Apr 2006 _
And now I've disabled it again. I'll need to find a different system that blocks the ads somehow.
31 Mar 2006 _
I had disabled the guestbook at the end of 2005. Now I've enabled it again.
11 Jan 2006 _
Finished a small page about Garbage Pail Kids that I had started several years ago. I also recently updated the statistics page for 2005.
09 Dec 2005 _
I've added a message board. It's not actually on this site, but is available by the largess of Darthlupi.
12 Mar 2005 _
I restructured the parts of my site that deal with video game design. I hope I didn't break too many links. I also added screenshots from some old games I worked on using Megazeux and RSD Game-Maker.
I also uploaded a Velella demo a week or two ago.
26 Aug 2004 _
I made another small game called "elu undersea." You can get it here.
03 Aug 2004 _
I'm only a year late getting this set up: a new gallery of photographs from summer 2003 in Estonia.
10 Apr 2004 _
Not only is my guestbook fixed now, but after years of unreliable services I finally have it hosted right here with the rest of the site. It took me hours to set up and customize, but it was certainly worth it.
01 Jan 2004 _
One fun thing about the year ending is that I get to update my statistics page. That is, the page where I had originally intended to post site statistics but came up with something better.
07 Nov 2003 _
Released another game. This one is a small life simulator called "elu." You can get it here.
12 Sep 2003 _
Redesigned the main index page. In case you prefer the original design, I left it up as well.
08 Sep 2003 _ Added a freeware games section to cell7.
15 Aug 2003 _
After six months or so, I finally finished seiklus, a game that I created using the aforementioned Game Maker.
14 Jul 2003, 13 Apr 2003 _ added a bunch of MODs to cell7.
12 Mar 2003 _
Recently, a lot of my free time has been devoted to a wonderful program I discovered--Game Maker by Mark Overmars. I made a page about it here.
31 Jan 2003 _
Finally added snes music box to a game music index. Also updated c64 music box and nes music box fairly extensively, even if the changes are not immediately apparent.
11 Jan 2003 _ added the first section of a new area, cell7.
07 Jan 2003 _
The death of the old computer included the loss of my progress on a major rework of my games page. It took me a while to bring myself to start over, but now I have extensively updated it and formatted the rest of that area to match.
26 Oct 2002 _
My guestbook was erased in an alleged virus attack, so I dumped the entries I had backed up into the archives and set it up once again.
Also, made the shrines accessible from the main page and made lots of other minor changes.
24 Oct 2002 _ Redesigned and expanded things > films.
01 Oct 2002 _
Reorganized and added to the links page. I've updated a lot of other things in the past few months, but most changes have been functional, aesthetic, or minor and I haven't bothered mentioning them here. I have some more significant changes planned for the near future.
08 Aug 2002 _ Redesigned and expanded NES music box.
29 Jul 2002 _ Reworked about this site.
27 Jul 2002 _
I've recently found that having my computer destroyed by lightning is a great motivator for working on web pages. New ideas come in greater numbers when I am not able to do anything with them. Though ideas have never been in short supply--only motivation* .
* My instinct is to say "time and motivation," but there's generally no such thing as not having time for things. And how in the world are you supposed to arrange an asterisk and the punctuation at the end of a sentence?
16 Feb 2002 _
The cable account that I have been using for some time for e-mail and some of my page hosting is about to disappear. Therefore, I have moved the remainder of my pages from that server to this one. Not knowing what else to do with them, I simply threw them into a folder called history.
In other news, it seems that my guestbook has mysteriously re-appeared. I'm glad, since I couldn't seem to find an equivalent service elsewhere.
24 Nov 2001 _
If you have come to this site more than once or twice, you have probably noticed that it is not frequently updated. It is, however, updated. I frequently work on various sections. I just don't usually mention it here when the changes are not major, or when I'd rather it were simply discovered.
Recently, I have been updated even less frequently than usual. This is due to a series of significant things that have taken place in real life during the past few weeks, including marriage, moving, and acquiring a Playstation 2.
30 Sep 2001 _
Updated my interests pages kind of extensively and made lots of minor changes in other areas. I also restarted my LiveJournal with a different approach. But I can't say it will ever be as good as Fabio's.
18 Sep 2001 _
My guestbook has disappeared without warning. It now leads to ads. I guess I shouldn't have expected my $5 "lifetime registration" to actually last a lifetime. I'll need to find a new guestbook service. Sign it quick before it goes away again.
I am distracted lately from web design and most other things by a significant event that will take place in November in real life.
If you're looking for a web host, I highly recommend mine, Pair Networks.
27 Aug 2001 _
About a month ago, I added a bunch of WAV files from movies I like on my extra page. Now that I look at the dates involved, it looks like I added them almost exactly a month ago. And it was almost exactly 2 months ago that I last added something to this page.
And early in July, I inherited someone else's ZZT site, ZZTers Anonymous, which will now live here along with my own.
And I just now finished giving my C64 music page a graphical overhaul. And that's all.
27 Jun 2001 _
Added a lot of new fun sites to visit on the links page. I also brought back something I made some years ago, my page of Erasure parodies.
In other news, if you haven't yet seen Tunak Tunak Tun, you're missing out on the reason music was invented. And TV. tunak.ram is 6.3 MB, and here it is at 3 different sites, so even if I never update this, hopefully one will still be there: one two three
11 Jun 2001 _
Sometimes I spend tons of time working on page but it doesn't end up looking all that different. Such was the case this weekend with my C64 music page and my NES music page. In the process of these updates, I discovered a wonderful site. I suppose it won't appeal to everyone, but it's one of the most pleasant Internet discoveries I've made in a long time: Chiptune.com. I can't recommend it highly enough.
05 Jun 2001 _
I moved a few things around and added something new, the page you are reading right now. I wrote the entry below seconds before I started this one and pretended that it was a few days ago because I really did add that new gallery on or around that day and because if you see more than one entry here, it at least gives the illusion of regular updates. I also added a section called extra to hold things that don't seem to fit anywhere else.
Since what you just read wasn't very interesting, here's a bonus for getting through it: a great article about the Internet by Douglas Adams, a favorite author of mine who died recently.
25 May 2001 _
This area is primarily intended for notification of site updates, so if you're curious to know when something major is added, you can find out about it here and avoid having to look around at things you've seen before. I don't say this as some sort of arrogant assumption that lots of people come here, but my weblogs show that some people visit more than once. Assuming you can trust anything in page statistics.
Of course it's possible given my past performance with everything I do that this will end up being updated rarely enough to shame the very word news, but I'll try to keep it reasonably current.
Anyway, I added a new section: The 425x425 Gallery. I've been drawing these pictures recently, and I thought I might as well put them on the Internet. See the page itself for more information.
